Hi there, and welcome to The Tiger Times!

A revitalization of the old The Tiger Tribune, The Tiger Times is here to be your student-based Ridley review and daily correspondence! From service trips to student passions, The Tiger Times is our monthly newspaper and magazine that represents the diverse student body of Ridley, serving students, faculty, alumni, and parents as a thought-provoking forum for our community.

Under the guidance of Ms. O’Rourke, The Tiger Times: Newspaper and Magazine is currently being run by Rebecca Liu ‘25 and Rawnie Sun ‘25 as Head Editors-in-Chief and Emily (Sooae) Kim ‘26 as Head of the Magazine. We are aiming to not only complete our CAS requirements but to also increase awareness of journalism, global issues, and community events under our founding principle of democratic and globally-minded (see what we did there? *wink wink* @IBO) journalism.

The Tiger Insiders serves as The Tiger Times’s daily correspondent, running as a news channel-based club, focusing on covering current events and upcoming activities in a video format.

Under the guidance of Mr. Wiens, The Tiger Insiders is currently being run by Annabelle Standish ‘26. The Tiger Insiders hope to interview people on-site during a range of activities and events and spread varying opinions, introduce new ideas, and bring awareness of new clubs and events throughout the school.

Ridley is filled with talented and passionate students, all with talents, ideas, projects, and achievements that should be shared. The Tiger Times is meant to be a place where any student with a vision can share and publish topics with the rest of the school community. Unlike other avenues, we are organized, written, directed, published, edited, and oriented to the Ridley student body above all else.

If you have a passion project that you would like to share in one edition or if you wish to help us by contributing to the newspaper monthly as a staff editor/writer/designer, please email rebecca_liu@ridleycollege.com or rawnie_sun@ridleycollege.com. Staff writers and editors meet during the first long lunch and designers meet during the third long lunch of the month.
