Holiday Ornament Fundraiser

I’m in Grade 4, and I started at Ridley in Junior Kindergarten. Last year, my two younger sisters and I started a holiday ornament fundraiser for a local charity at Ridley. We had so much fun designing the ornament! However, what was not fun was inspecting the ornaments to ensure they all had good quality.
This year, for the ornament, we looked at a candy cane design and used different colours. On a candy cane, the stripes may be red, white and green. Meanwhile, on the ornament, the stripes are silver, white and orange. On the back of the ornament, we have the theme of the year (HOPE 2024) with paw prints and maple leaves all combined into a heart.
On the bottom, there are the words “CELEBRATE LEARNING” circled around a silver heart. The front has RIDLEY in black text with a white outline. The top has silver glitter and an orange satin bow, which was inspired by my sister’s hair ribbons.
We are raising money for BGC (Boys & Girls Club) of Niagara and Ridley’s Art Program. BGC has a holiday dinner for students who participate in their programs. We chose Ridley’s Art Program for the fundraiser because we really enjoy going to art and we do really fun projects in that class.
We would love it if you would support our fundraiser by purchasing a holiday ornament!
